Quadrennial Convocation 2025

The AWF Quadrennial Gathering is the most important international event for the Alliance family. Every four years, pastors, leaders, and members from over 50 countries come together to strengthen our unity, renew our vision, and move forward in the global mission God has entrusted to us.

In 2025, this gathering will take place from October 8 to 12 in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire, where we will experience a time of worship, teaching, testimony, and fellowship. Together, we celebrate what God is doing through The Alliance around the world, and we reaffirm our commitment to go deeper in Christ, further in mission… and to GO TOGETHER as one family.

"If there’s a genuine desire in your heart to go deeper in Christ, further in mission, and walk together as the global Alliance family, then this gathering is for you: come and be part of what God is doing through our family around the world."

Workshops

Alliance DNA & Theological Education

During the Quadrennial, the International Commission on Theological Education (ICTE) will host a dynamic workshop exploring how the core identity and mission of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) can be meaningfully expressed in diverse local contexts. Participants will engage with the foundational themes of Alliance DNA—such as the deeper life and global mission—and consider practical ways to embody these values within their own churches and communities. This workshop offers a rich opportunity for reflection, dialogue, and equipping leaders to live out the heart of the Alliance in compelling and contextually relevant ways.

Crossing Together: Next-Gen Leadership for a Multicultural Mission

How do we raise up a new generation of Christ-centered leaders who are ready to serve with courage, humility, and vision in a multicultural world? This workshop invites young and emerging leaders from across the global Alliance family to explore what it means to lead faithfully in a time of generational and cultural transition.

Aligned with the Convocation theme “Going Together”, this session focuses on empowering the next generation to grow in spiritual depth, develop their leadership capacity, and contribute meaningfully to the future of the Alliance movement. Participants will be challenged to reflect on their identity in Christ, their calling in mission, and their responsibility in carrying forward the heritage of the Church while responding to the needs of a changing world.

A special emphasis will be placed on the journey of second-generation leaders in ethnic churches—those who live at the intersection of cultures and are uniquely positioned to bridge communities, languages, and perspectives. Through honest dialogue, practical insights, and shared experiences, this workshop seeks to affirm the vital role of these leaders and to equip them for cross-cultural ministry with purpose and resilience.

Join us as we learn to cross together — across generations, across cultures, and into God’s mission for our time.

Cultivating Biblical Generosity

Biblical generosity is about creating disciples, not just raising funds. Learn how to reignite the Acts 2 and 4 Church through radical biblical generosity. Early believers shared everything, fostering unity and transforming lives. This spirit of giving and community spread the gospel and made disciples as we need to do again today. This workshop will be facilitated by a team from GenerousChurch whose mission is to inspire a movement of giving that transforms lives and spreads God’s love across the globe.

Caring Across Cultures: Strengthening Member Care for International Workers

This workshop will help participants understand the principles of effective member care while also recognizing and understanding cultural influences on preferences in care. The discussion time will help workers identify practical strategies that are adaptable within their own “sending” cultural contexts and work well in the cultural contexts where the international workers serve.

Relief and Development as Missions

Discover how you can join God’s work in restoring his creation and building flourishing communities at our Creation Care and Development Workshop. Stephen Albright will guide us in embracing the Creator’s invitation to care for his creation, reversing the effects of the Fall, and learning how to live in right relationship with the King as we seek to redeem and restore the world around us. Pastor Jérémie Boré will equip us with practical, foundational principles often missed in development work, showing us how to truly help communities grow where little or no development exists. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of God’s redemptive work in the world. Register now and be part of making a lasting impact!

Women’s Ministry

Join us for a powerful series of workshops designed to inspire and mobilize women to actively participate in the Great Commission, using the unique talents and callings God has placed in each of us. These workshops will equip you with biblical insight, practical tools, and renewed passion to serve where God has placed you:

Pastor’s Wives – Embracing God’s design for the family as a catalyst for community transformation.

Prayer & Missions – Praying God’s Word daily for the unreached and igniting a heart for the nations.

Professionals & Career – Taking the gospel boldly into the workplace and marketplace.

Leadership – Equipping women to lead with influence and Kingdom purpose.

We envision women taking these insights, strategies, and spiritual encouragement back to their respective regions, countries, local churches and families—multiplying the impact and advancing God’s Kingdom across nations.
