Edward Awabdeh is the Senior Pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Damascus, Syria, and has served as President of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches in Syria and Lebanon since 2004. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Damascus University (1973), a Master of Divinity (2003), and a Doctor of Ministry (2020), both from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. Dr. Awabdeh practiced dentistry in Saudi Arabia from 1979 to 1999 before transitioning to full-time ministry. He lives in Damascus with his wife, Rana. They have three children and two granddaughters.
