Daniel Ronda

President of The Christian And Missionary Alliance Church of Indonesia.

Daniel Ronda was born in Denpasar, Indonesia, on April 12, 1966. He is married to Elisabeth Selfina Ronda, and they have two grown children: Kharissa Bunga Ronda, who is married to Ivan Mellolo, and Bagus William Ronda. They are also blessed with one grandchild, Elliot.

Currently, Dr. Ronda serves as Professor of Church Leadership at Jaffray Theological Seminary, with campuses in both Makassar and Jakarta. He has also been serving as the President of the Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia (The Alliance Church of Indonesia) since 2016.

He holds a Bachelor of Theology (S.Th.) from Jaffray Theological Seminary in Makassar; a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Pastoral Studies from Alliance Biblical Seminary (now Alliance Graduate School) in Manila, Philippines; a Master of Theology (Th.M.) in Systematic Theology from the Asia Graduate School of Theology, Manila; a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Church Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary, USA; and a Doctor of Theology (D.Th.) in Practical Theology from Jaffray Theological Seminary in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Dr. Ronda has been actively involved in a wide range of ministries. He served as pastor of the Alliance Church in Ubud, Bali (1989–1994); Secretary of the Bali–NTB District of the Alliance Church (1991–1994); professor at Jaffray Theological Seminary (1994–present); President of Jaffray Theological Seminary Makassar (2006–2016); and an assessor for the National Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (2012–present).

Since June 2024, he has also taken on the role of General Secretary of PGLII (Persekutuan Gereja-Gereja dan Lembaga-Lembaga Injili Indonesia / Fellowship of Evangelical Churches and Institutions in Indonesia).
